Illusory World is a VR art experience that opens with an implosion of the central character directly in front of the viewer. The character races toward a distant diamond, joined by others—some charging toward the same goal, while others sprinting rather aimlessly. Yet, they all keep this relentless and frantic run. As soon as one reaches the diamond, one collapses right upon contact. Turning around reveals another dazzling world of glittering stones. As the player attempts to reach any of the crystals, they disappear at the moment of the player’s touch. The work illustrates a world driven by unattainable illusions.
